I believe teaching is not a singular endeavor. To be an effective teacher one must be working in and amongst the community to further develop their practice and knowledges.

Teaching
I am a high school humanities teacher with a Preliminary Social Sciences Credential. I am pursuing an English Language and Art credential.
I am trained in project based learning.

Continuing Education
I am working on a Masters of Education at the High Tech High Graduate School of Education. My lesson studies focus on x. I am interested in pursuing a PhD in educational public policy.

Extracurriculars
I have a variety of additional skills that I can apply to the school setting. Yoga, cooking and baking, art history, gardening, creative writing, reading. I have community connections with small businesses, local progressive organizations, and advocacy groups.
