Teacher Resident

900 hours of teaching experience co-teaching and lead teaching project-based humanities lessons for a whole academic year in an 11th-grade classroom.

Co-designed interdisciplinary projects with Biology teacher on climate change and the criminal justice system; collaborated with local community organizations such as the California Innocence Project, City of San Diego, the Public Defender’s office, and more.

Head Teaching Facilitator

Designed the course curriculum for Contemporary Isses: Model United Nations, the course materials, assignments, and lectures, for the public speaking general education course.

Managed a team of twelve undergraduate student facilitators, provided teaching oversight and workshops, and individual meetings to improve the quality of facilitation.

Taught each of the three quarters, both the procedure and on the given topic of the course; the course grew from 40 to 120 students in one quarter.
